Operations Manager - Credit & Collection

Responsibilities:

- Manages a group of 8-12 team leaders
- Provides leadership and feedback for the subordinated teams
- Ensures the SSC teams are motivated and focused
- Handles and solves any HR related issues in order to prevent disruptions
- Acts as an escalation and mediation point for the SSC teams requests
- Provides coaching for the direct reports
- Manages the operational activities of the SSC teams in strict coordination with the countries
- Is the escalation point for the countries' finance organization, especially for the countries' Finance Directors
- Ensures the account management
- Reviews and recommends policies, procedures and KPI improvement, in coordination with the countries
- Collects feedback regarding the SSC teams' performance
- Takes the necessary actions to correct or improve the operational performance
- Works in close collaboration with the Center's Operations Managers
- Actively takes part in the management team's initiatives
- Takes ownership and implements the assigned projects
- Cascades the management decisions and ensures the requested actions are implemented accordingly

Requirements:

- Degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
- 8-10 years experience in Credit & Collection in a multinational company, supporting multiples countries
- 5 years people management experience
- Excellent English oral and written communication skills
- French, Italian or Spanish is a plus
- Goal oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Knowledge of high-end applications/databases like SAP, JDE is highly desirable
- Strong problem solving, interpersonal and financial analysis
